FINAL BLOG! =]
PART ONE:
I am a respectful mind because I respect others. I try to welcome all people even those that are different than me. I also accept others and try to work well with all people. A respectful mind is critical in dealing with others. In any future job that one could have they will have to have a respectful mind to take care of situation.
PART TWO:
In class this year I have experimented with new ideas, engaged in intellectual discussions, and exhibited respect for other viewpoints. I have experimented with new ways of writing and learning throughout this year. I feel that I am well prepared for college because of this. In class we have also had many intellectual discussions. These discussions included socratic seminairs and projects. During class it is also critical to listen and to except other viewpoints. This obviously all enhances the learning experience and prepares one for the future.
PART THREE:
I have learned that finding information is really rather easy with the new technology we have today. I also learned that blogs are a great way to communicate with others. The internet is like a "one stop shop" because one can communicate, do school work, and learn new things with only few clicks of the mouse. Blogs are a great way for students especially to complete assignments and remain connected to the outside world.

Martina McBride
ABOVE IS THE MUSIC VIDEO FOR THE SONG "GOD'S WILL", which is a very inspirational song!
Martina is known as the "Celine Dion" of Country Music. She started her career in 1992, with her first single called "The Time Has Gone." She later found a pop-styled sound similar to Shania Twain or Faith Hill. Many of her albums have become certified as gold and has sold over 16 million albums. She has even won CMA "Female Vocalist of the Year" four times, in fact, she is tied with Reba McEntire for the most wins in this category. She has also won the ACM Award for "Top Female Vocalist" three times.

Jo Dee Messina
This video for "Bye Bye" is my favorite song from Jo Dee Messina.
Jo Dee Messina may of had a rough start in her career, but she decided to keep on trekking and this hard work helped her out. In fact, in 1999 she won the CMA's Horizon Award for new artists. Her song "Bring on the Rain," which features Tim McGraw, became a big hit. She has toured with Vince Gill, the Judds, and even George Strait. Her most recent album was released in 2005.
Reba McEntire
The song (video above) "Fancy" is the first major hit for Reba McEntire
Reba McEntire started her career in 1975. The album "My Type of Country" brought her her first taste of success. She has had a total of 24 number 1 hits so far in her career and 28 of her CDs have been certified gold. She has even started an acting career since she started her stardom. She is ranked 7th in best selling female artist from any genre and 2nd for country music. She has no doubt left her mark in all of pop culture.

Miranda Lambert
This is the music video for "Everybody Dies Famous in a Small Town," which is my favorite song by Miranda Lambert. : )
Miranda is on her third album now and is 25 years old. Her most successful song "Gunpowder and Lead" tells about what she thinks girls are really made of - gunpowder and lead. Her songs are all outspoken such as this one and in fact, she is quoted as saying, "I mean every word I say in every lyric of every song on this record, and every record I've ever done."
This past week she won the ACM for Female Vocalist of the year, an ACM for Country Video of the year for the song "White Liar," and even an ACM for album of the year.
She is set to perform at the CMT Awards on June 9th in Nashville, TN.
